It works great for cleaning windows outside and cleaning that nasty grill. The hot steam added with the pressure melts the grease and build up right off my grill racks. I also steam clean my patio furniture and picnic table with the portable steamer.

I think the only time I use my big upright steam cleaner is when I am doing an entire room of carpet. It is too bulky to use on most of my cleaning jobs even though it does have attachments to clean other surfaces and furniture. My portable steam cleaner is much easier to maneuver around from room to room. Plus with using a vapor steamer there is no need to carry around a bucket full of cleaning products when I am going upstairs and downstairs. Just me and my little portable steam cleaner and some paper towels.
